Why do your mailings ask that I send my donation to a NJ address if
the Soup Kitchen is in NY?
Donations are
opened, recorded, and deposited in New Jersey
by a company that provides these
services to many non-profit
groups.
As our small staff would be overwhelmed, using
this service allows us to spend more of your contribution on feeding
people. Donations sent to New Jersey or
to our New York address will reach us just
the same. We thank you for your support.
Why do you do this?
Holy Apostles Soup Kitchen was started because hungry people came to
our door seeking something to eat. We could not turn them away -- so we fed them. In
27 years we have never looked back. We believe God is calling us to do
his work.
