Bishop Robinson Book Signing at Holy Apostles

Bishop Gene Robinson will read from and sign copies of his latest book, In the Eye of the Storm: Swept to the Center by God, here at Holy Apostles on Thursday, April 24th from 6 to 8 p.m.  The event is co-sponsored by Holy Apostles and The General Theological Seminary.  Elected in 2003, Bishop Robinson is the first openly gay bishop elected to serve in the Anglican Communion.  From Church Publishing: "This book offers an honest, thoughtful portrait of Robinson, the faith that has informed his life, and the controversy that continues to rock his Church."  Bishop Robinson will also offer brief remarks and answer questions about the book.  Copies will also be available for sale and refreshments will be served.  Please join us, and bring your friends.
