Mission
Our rector, the Rev. Dr.
William A. Greenlaw, will
retire on September 30,
2008.
On behalf of the wardens
and vestry, the search
committee welcomes
inquiries from candidates
for the position of
rector of the Church of
the Holy Apostles.
The mission statement of
the Church of the Holy
Apostles:
Called together by
the God who loves all
people,
we, the people of the Church of the Holy
Apostles,
seek to share God's love with one another and the
world around us.
We rejoice together
in the Sunday
Eucharist, the center
of our life together.
Friends and fellow
pilgrims, clergy and
lay persons,
we are strengthened
to nurture each
other's spiritual
growth
and to respond compassionately to the needs of
our world.
Reflecting the rich
tradition and
diversity of the
Anglican Communion
and the Episcopal
Church, we invite all
to join us.
We welcome those
celebrating faith or
struggling with
doubt,
those seeking both
spiritual and
physical nourishment,
and those of diverse ages, races, and sexual
orientations.
Together, we strive
to seek and serve
Christ in all
persons.
