The Reconciliation of a Penitent (commonly called Confession) is available for all who desire it.  Persons so desiring are requested to make an appointment with one of the clergy.

 

SUNDAY OF THE PASSION:  PALM SUNDAY - March 16

11:00 a.m.   Liturgy of the Palms, Palm Procession, Dramatic Reading of the Passion, and Choral Eucharist.

Music by Bach, Gibbons, Lotti, Franck, and Byrd with plainsong psalms, antiphons, and hymns (full choir).

 MONDAY IN HOLY WEEK - March 17

 6:00 p.m.    Silent Meditation (South Chapel)

 6:15 p.m.    The Great Litany and Holy Eucharist (South Chapel)
 

 TUESDAY IN HOLY WEEK - March 18

 6:00 p.m.    Silent Meditation (South Chapel)

 6:15 p.m.    The Great Litany and Holy Eucharist (South Chapel)

 WEDNESDAY IN HOLY WEEK - March 19

 8:00 p.m.    Tenebrae:  A service of darkness.

 MAUNDY THURSDAY - March 20

 7:00 p.m.    The Last Supper of Our Lord, with Foot Washing, and Stripping of the Altar.

With music by Duuflé and Byrd with (full choir) antiphons, and hymns.

All who would like to participate in the foot washing by our parish clergy are invited to come forward at the announced time during the service.

THE WATCH will be kept before the Blessed Sacrament from 8:30 p.m. until 11:30 a.m. Good Friday.  You are invited to sign up for one or more hours.  Please consider signing up for the middle of the night and very early morning so that these times may be well covered.  And please consider signing up for a time at the church entrance.

 GOOD FRIDAY - March 21

12:00 noon  The Solemn Liturgy, including

Chanting the Passion According to St. John, Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion (full choir).  Music by Victoria, Chilcott, and Howells with plainsong antiphons and psalms, and hymns.

 HOLY SATURDAY - March 22

10:00 a.m.   The Proper Liturgy

 EASTER EVE - March 22

 8:00 p.m.   The Great Vigil of Easter, including Lighting of the New Fire

Singing of the Exsultet, Lessons, and the First Eucharist of Easter, concluding with the congregation singing the Hallelujah Chorus (full choir). Music by Joyce, Hurd, Berchem, and Handel with plainsong psalms and hymns.

Easter Party will follow in the Church.

 SUNDAY OF THE RESURRECTION:  EASTER DAY - March 23

10:50 a.m.   Prelude

11:00 a.m.   Procession and Festival Eucharist

(with brass, timpani, full choir and organ)
. Music by Peeters, Howells, Hurd, Josquin, Handel, Gabrieli, and Byrd.

A Festive Party & Easter Egg Hunt will follow in the Church.
